Chris "Wood" Swain
Chris "Wood" Swain was born in Miami, Fl. He was raised and lived most of his life in Coconut Grove a small urban community in Miami. An area were trouble wasn’t hard to find. He was able to avoid serious problems by keeping himself busy with sports and church. Music wasn’t really a top choice as a career in his early years. He first found his passion for music in church were he was part of the youth choir. After graduating Highschool he chose to attend Miami Dade College instead of leaving home, majoring in computer engineering. It was there that his passion for music caught up with him. While working for the college to pay for school, Chris stumbled unto a room that was full of Midi keyboards and computers . He found himself frequently dropping in to see what it is they do in the room. He Befriended one of the lab supervisors at the time who ended up teaching him how to use the software. After spending more and more time in the lab on and off the clock, he decided that he really liked making beats but wanted to learn more and perfect his craft. The following semester he enrolled in a sound engineering course. It was clear to him at that point that this is what he wanted. Through the class and the music program he met Jeff “Komplex” Bellamy and Andre “Busha” Cambell. After getting together one day and making a beat there was instant chemistry he found that Komplex’s melody’s matched his hard hitting and crazy drums. It was then that TracKings LLC was born. The three decided to become a team and began to plan on how they could make their stamp on the music industry. After only two years of working hard they received their first placement with a major artist, Bezino. Shortly following that they continued to work submitting tracks to labels and A&R’s. Eventually landing a few more placements with Franchise boys, Trae tha truth and Trick Daddy to name a few. Also working on tracks with many up and coming artist and local acts. In 2011 Chris decided he still wanted to take time to work on personal projects and ides thus creating his own production company, Make It B.AN.G. LLC. Not only the description of the style production he brings but an accronym for Make It Because Ain't Nothing Given. With his new brand he would be taking on new talent while still promoting his production skills. He is working on a number of projects for up and coming artists out of Miami. One in particular he's been working closely with through the years is a talented artist and longtime childhood friend "Yung Jefe". The two have developed flawless musical chemistry and partnership. Writing and producing tracks together. In Oct 2015 Yung Jefe released a mixtape "Lost Files" in which Make it bang recorded, mixed and executive produced. It gained over 5k downloads in less than a month on tapehustlers.com a popular mixtape site. The two are currently working in the studio on Jefe's first Album set to be released in 2016. Aside from production "Wood" also engineers and writes himself making him the all around package.
